Melissa Gwyn received her MFA from Yale. had solo exhibitions at Feigen Contemporary, Stux Gallery and White Columns in New York, the Kohler Art Center in Wisconsin, and group exhibitions in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, The Tang Museum, Philadelphia, London, Japan and elsewhere. Her work has been reviewed in Art Forum, Time Out New York, Village Voice, Art News, Arts Magazine, The New York Times, Chromogram Magazine, Chemistry World, Pyragraph Magazine and other publications. She’s given presentations on her work at UC Davis, Carnegie Mellon, The Tang Museum, University of Southern California, Penn State, Ohio State and Vassar and other universities. She’s a recent nominee for the SECA award at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
